Career Summary

For 30 years I have maintained IT technical competencies and demonstrated the ability to transform business requirements into IT based solutions leveraging the latest in software development, information access, communications, and large enterprise systems architecture.   I have during this time utilized the latest technologies and practices to design, manage, support, and deploy practical, Enterprise and Small Business sized business solutions.  I work well with Management, Business and Technical, and End User staff to ensure that once projects are deployed, they receive positive adoption from the user communities.  My experience includes working with project teams in both North America and Europe.  I have additional experience training and developing resources in Africa, South America, and Australia.

My career started as an IBM Mainframe PL/1 and Cobol programmer moving deeper into the operating system software to develop enhancements based on the IBM 370 Assembler Language.    As Customer Relationships Management systems developed using IBM's CICS online transaction processing system I managed the infrastructure for 500 seat service centre network covering home office and remote locations.  During this period in the mid 1970's I led the effort to introduce release management and quality control processes in the IT department.  As PC's developed my attention turned to small business and PC to Mainframe systems solutions where I spent 10 years working as a consultant and solution provider servicing customers with custom and packaged applications.

I latter returned to the corporate world specializing in marketing and sales applications.  Prior to joining Siebel Systems I was Director of Sales Information Systems for a Global Hi-Tech Manufacture, where I initiated and led the strategy and development efforts which included the companies first Data Warehouse solution.  Since joining Siebel Systems I have specialized in Global technical training to Management, Business Analyst, Project Management, Development, and Systems staff working on CRM solutions.
